The Resurrection of Sarah Jeremiah

  • Fringe On The Streets (starts at Ferguson Station) 244 King Street East Hamilton, ON, L8N 1B7 Canada (map)

Are you good enough? Sarah Jeremiah thinks so. She’s hitting the streets to preach self-love, self-acceptance, and self-validation. If you don’t already love yourself, you will.

The Resurrection of Sarah Jeremiah is a solo performance by Alison Fishburn, a Pushcart-nominated writer, award-winning playwright, performer, and community organizer. Sarah Jeremiah is a persona based on her own experience of learning to overcome internalized punitive shame, guilt, and fear of eternal damnation.

What is Fringe On The Streets?

“A FREE new performance event presented in partnership with the City of Hamilton with support from the Downtown BIA and Keeping Six. Fringe On The Streets is an immersive walking tour that reimagines downtown Hamilton. Audiences will experience a wild and wonderful version of the city through live art and performance. Hop on or off anywhere along the 90-minute route along King & James as we bring you twisted ghost stories at Ferguson Station, drag in Gore Park, street preachers with a twist, a museum of stories at Jackson Square, a wandering band along York, and a larger-than-life grand finale at Tivoli on the Square. There’s never been a tour of Downtown Hamilton quite like this!”
